Who is the greatest ever?

We all know that Mo Greene famously called himself the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) but If the best there has ever been over 100m had a race – who would win?
Asafa Powell may be the world record holder now but would Jesse Owens be able to run even faster than the Jamaican if he had the same technological advances in training, footwear and track as today’s sprinters do?
Who would even reach the greatest ever final?
Would Linford Christie make the cut?
What about Tyson Gay or Olu Fasuba – men who have run fast recently?
How about a legend from years past like Carl Lewis or someone plagued with injuries but with huge potential like a Bruny Surin or Leroy Burrell?
What about men who have had their careers cut short by suspensions like Justin Gatlin, Tim Montgomery or Ben Johnson?
What about those who never reached their potential because of other sports like Jim Hines?
The choice is yours!
I’ll post up my final 8 in a few days time with who I believe would win – making them the greatest ever!

The man was a revolution, a pioneer.
Without all the technology they have today and without all the fancy training regemes, outfits, equipment and etc.
To me, the man is without rival, there has been little improvement on his time even with all the modern training facilities and ehhem, artificial aids... the modern world has to offer...
