It all starts in Glasgow

Kelvin Hall, Glasgow usually kicks off the international indoor season and this year the organisers can boast some very big names to help raise the curtain.

The match features teams from Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, the United States and a commonwealth select team that will all fight it out in a points based system

A beginners guide to indoor athletics

The indoor season takes place between December and March with the major championship usually taking place in early March

Katerina Thanou
In a surprise twist disgraced Greek sprinter Katerina Thanou has threatened to take the IOC to court if she is not awarded the 100m gold medal from the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

At the games Thanou finished second to Marion Jones who this week formally had her medals taken away from her and her records expunged

Conte to expose drugs cheats to world

In the latest development of the BALCO scandal Victor Conte has agreed to disclose evidence of wide spread doping to WADA supremo Dick Pound when the two meet on Wednesday.

"I hope this will help create a more level playing field," said Conte, the man at the centre of the biggest doping scandal in sporting history

Wariner joins Powell down under.

Jeremy Wariner has announced that he will be following in the footsteps of Asafa Powell and running in the Australian summer season.

Wariner has pinpointed meets at Homebush, Sydney (16th February) and Melbourne (21st February) to kick start his Olympic campaign

Powell to open season in Australia.

Asafa Powell
Jamaican sprint sensation is taking Charlie Francis’s advice and beginning his Olympic season in March with two high profile meets in Australia.

The 25-year-old Jamaican will race in the Sydney Athletics Grand Prix on 16th of February, and at the IAAF World Athletics Tour meet in Melbourne on the 21st of February
